The first all electric e.COBUS was handed over to Emirates/dnata by our CEO Patricia Vasconcelos at Dubai International Airport on June 7th, 2022. This unit shall support Emirates’/dnata’s commitment to reduce carbon emission and environmental pollution.

At the end of 2019, we launched with great pride the new generation of our COBUS 2700 and 2700S – along with a COBUS 2700 First Class and a special model COBUS 3000 “XL” – at the Interairport in Munich from Oct. 8-11, 2019. As launching customer for our new COBUS 2700 model we were pleased to gain OmiServ at Gatwick International Airport!

Milestones
Thanks to all of you we had a record year with more than 300 COBUS models being delivered throughout the world! Really great – thank you! We were able to serve very large orders from the Middle East. COBUS no. 4,000 was delivered to our esteemed customer Emirates Airlines.
In Taiwan, we gladly delivered two COBUS 3000 to our new customer: Starlux Airlines! Welcome to the COBUS family! Our customer SEA placed their first order for 13 e.COBUS 3000 for their operation at Malpensa and Linate International Airport – thanks a lot!
COBUS is not only present at airports, but also in the skiing resort of Copper Mountain Colorado! We were happy to deliver COBUS no. 7, 8 and 9! Inside of Germany we gained two new customers: Hamburg Airport and FRAPORT, located at Frankfurt International Airport. Also: Welcome to the COBUS family!

Our Sales Team in Focus Today
Otabek Djuraev, our Junior Sales Manager, started to work for COBUS in January last year. He was born in Uzbekistan and due to the language skills and cultural background, he will take over Russian speaking sales territories in the mid-term. Currently, he gets a more in-depth and profound knowledge of the aviation market and is our specialist for electric buses.
Otabek studied electrical engineering and information technology (BSc) and gained professional experience in the sales back office support with Continental AG.
In his spare time, Otabek enjoys going to the gym and doing team sports, particularly football. Also, guitar playing and gardening, especially the cultivation of Bonsai trees, belong to his favorite activities.

Our Sales Team in Focus Today
Laila Engler is the only female Sales Manager we have in our sales team at present. She studied business engineering with industrial engineering and worked for the GSE industry already before she joined our team. Laila takes care of our customers on the American continent, in the Netherlands, Ireland and in the United Kingdom.
In her leisure time, Laila enjoys any kind of sports that can be done in the air or on the water, e.g. yacht boat racing.

These days a delegation from Nepal Airlines inspected their 4 COBUS 3000 in our factory in Porto, Portugal, prior to their shipment to Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu where they will soon offer passengers a safe and comfortable ride. FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES!
We have been informed about illegal activities in India using COBUS as a method to obtain cash payments by fraud.
In personal meetings, persons claim that they are representatives from COBUS or that they work for a local COBUS subsidiary. During the meeting, they ask for urgent financial help (hard cash) due to a private situation (e.g. lost wallet) and promise to pay it back.
General rules:
1) COBUS employees never ask for hard cash or cheques, neither in a private nor business situations.
2) COBUS bank accounts are installed in Germany only. COBUS would never ask you to transfer money to a bank account in a different country.
3) COBUS representatives are never authorized to collect payments on behalf of COBUS.
4) COBUS does not change bank account information in an ongoing process.

Diesel is outdated
Each of the 16 passenger buses operated by Flughafen Stuttgart GmbH is run 100% electrically.
2013 the first electric bus operated on the apron. In the years ahead the airport gradually converted their fleet into electric drive. The airport aimed at ferrying its passengers between terminal and aircraft in an eco-friendly way – initiated by the sustainability project “scale-up!” supported by the Federal Ministry for Envrionment Protection and Nuclear Safety.
